Rice cracker

My coworkers eat rice crackers at their desk. I don't do that at the office, because it's crunchy. But I'm inspired by them so feel like eating at home sometimes, which is no good for dieting though. Today, after taking a golf lesson, I bought some of can beer and snacks at supermarket. The cashier saw my basket and asked 'drinking beer eating rice crackers?' I answered 'That's the best Saturday, isn't it.' Cherry blossom season is starting now. Creamed crab croquette, fish fries, clams and strawberries. I don't drink when I write, so I'm not drinking yet.

Bar Sea Guardian

@ Yokohama I've always wanted to come here. There is a Japanese song singing of this bar. The song titled 'Love affair' and the band group name is 'Southern all stars'. I'm a big fan of them, so.

Sapporo Beer Museum

You can enjoy beer tasting set for only 500 JPY (5 USD ) at Sapporo Beer Museum in Ebisu . The last time I came here was 7 years ago which is when I moved into Tokyo. One of my old friends brought me here. We both were quite new at this big city, very excited also very ignorant. Whenever I think back, I want to cuddle little myself.

Yes, I drink.

I like healthy lifestyle because it helps me to use my abilities to the full as I'm not a supper woman at all. I need to fulfill energies by eating properly, exercising and sleeping well. However, I drink, not often though, it's the only way to social with others for me. I don't eat regular foods or play golf, instead I like individual activities such as reading, jogging, Yoga and so on. And also, I'm OK type to alcohol and I do like them. There are three types of reflections to alcohol for Asian people. One can drink, one can a little and one can't. There's some genetic mutation while human spread from Africa. It's been said that it happen around China, so Japanese people are less to enjoy drinking as we are located at the edge. Interesting, isn't it.

Why not Bon Dance?

Bon Dance is an event held during summer. It is a welcoming celebration for ancestors who come back to this world once a year. The way of dance and music are different in each region, however all dancers perform the same dance sequence in unison. I used to Bon dance when I was a kid. I haven't danced since then, however this idea suddenly came up to me and now I'm planning to make a debut in this summer. I need some practice in advance as I'm almost a beginner especially here, in Tokyo. Youtube is great. To be continued..

Milonga

Milonga is a place where people dance Tango. I've been doing Yoga and Belly dancing so far and never had the idea of trying social dancing. Why? I don't know but those two are more spiritual stuff to me. I do Yoga & belly dance to maintain a balance of mind and body so that I can maximize possibilities. I become more peaceful and tolerant by doing them and it can bring back all good results to me. I went to this Milonga, it was because I was just curious what other people were doing on Friday nights. I was drinking a glass of wine and watching people dancing Tango. To make me surprised, there were about 30 people (They said it was small attendance compare to usual Friday nights as it seemed people attended their company events.) and the ratio of men and women is half and half. I thought it could be more female world. My friend says that when it comes to dancing woman has more choices than man such as belly dancing, and it is more popular than social dancing. But man doesn...

Sakura Scene 2009

The perfect timing of Cherry blossoms in Tokyo in this year was last week. People sit down underneath trees and enjoy having food or drinks as the first picture of blue sheets. However I prefer just walking a street lined with trees and having drinks or chatting with friends. I feel it's more respectful to Trees. They have gone through sweltering summer and chilly winter to show the beautiful blooms to us. And I have heard that the roots are vulnerable so that they can be easily damaged. So watch out people! By the way, I often ask people which sex they think of the trees. They all say that cherry trees are females. However I think it's opposite.
