Second Best?

It's a thanksgiving day, which is a holiday in Japan.

Beaujolais nouveau of the year is released on third Thursday of November

Cheese is a good friend of wine, first time to cook macaroni and cheese

100g of macaroni and variety kind of cheese including cheddar, sliced onion, nutmeg,
fresh herbs, milk and bread crumbs on top
Taste of home cooking?
We call it 'Ofukuro no aji' (Mums food taste)

Walking in Kappa-bashi to find kitchenware

And found a beautiful Miso-soup bowl

While I was drinking Beaujolais nouveau on the Thursday night,
I remembered the voice recode that was from a Japanese counselor lady who was living in the UK.
She does the business on the internet and I purchased it in 2012.

She read my email and did remote reading and replied in the voice message.

It was easy to find the file in my PC so I listened to it after a long time.

I found it that there are not much changed since then.
She mentioned my aura was hazy because I was not living as a best but the second.

But what is wrong with living a second best?

I suppose almost all people to live with compromise at some point.

Anyway, to find my best, I came to the cafe to write this blog.

Cafe Jubilee is in Shirogane-dai

From shop, I had french roasted coffee

Thank you for reading and have a nice thanksgiving day!

always a pleasure to read your posts. I didn't realize Thanksgiving was also a holiday in Japan, thought it was only an American event.

Thank you for your comment Mark.
Yes, it used be an original cerebration day which was for Imperial family and prayed of harvest
but switched into American meaning by GHQ after WWII.

Hiking @ Mt. Fuji

Pictures of Mt. Fuji where one of spiritual places in Japan. You can drive to halfway up the mountain. It's about two hours hiking course from there. Many people like to try climbing up Mt. Fuji. It's a popular way that people spend a night at a co ttage and start around 2am to see sun rise at the top, however I have never tried it. R einforcement work is under way as mountain slope is sliding down. I didn't make any effort, instead I just felt autumn there. It was a clear day after rainy days that took off orange osmanthus petals. Fujisan with rainbow Rain cleanses us and brings next season.

Oh Japanese..

I've been reading Hard boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami lately. His expressions are soooo good that I can't help making a note while I'm reading. His descriptions are amazing. I read the book on the commuting train and if there's any line that I am impressed, I take out my mobile and text it to my PC e-mail. Thus, I'm busy on the train, especially my commuting hour has been shorted since I moved. I miss long time train trip a bit. My neighbourhood photos.

Aomori

The northernmost part of Honshu(Main Land). It's about 700km away from Tokyo. Where The lantern festival take place. Where Tsugaru Shamisen originated. 8 hours driving. Easy driving. Food! Pink flowers and shrine. Pink pink pink. Season goes a little later than Tokyo. Plants took over the house. How pretty you are. This mountain called Osorezan , which is one of spiritual places in Japan.
