Jaisalmer

My friend told me I was crazy when I was planning to go to India in this summer.
Indian joke, there are three seasons in the country, hot, hotter, and hottest.
We could go to Ladakh instead of Rajasthan, where is more north part and its the best season is summer because of high altitude.

Fort Rajwada Hotel (Jaisalmer)

I'd love to go to Ladakh one day, but I just traveled to Tibet in May and Ladakh has more Tibetan culture rather than Indian.
Also I got mountain sickness in Tibet, so I didn't want the same so soon.

I always had a good feeling to Rajasthan.
It's one of origin of bellydancing,
in fact there are great dancing culture in the district.

Anyway, we went to see sunset at Sam Desert.
It wasn't really desert, there are lots of greens.

Our guide said Army planted many trees on desert, and it caused rain, and climate changed.
So they are no longer desert.

Is that true?

Camel Sunset Tour
They suddenly bent front legs to let customers get on and off, which is a little scary

Maybe it's a pay back
.
They come to tourist and show their "dance"
Camels are resting Long neck
People are waiting for sunset

Camel must be enjoying it, too

Hiking @ Mt. Fuji

Pictures of Mt. Fuji where one of spiritual places in Japan. You can drive to halfway up the mountain. It's about two hours hiking course from there. Many people like to try climbing up Mt. Fuji. It's a popular way that people spend a night at a co ttage and start around 2am to see sun rise at the top, however I have never tried it. R einforcement work is under way as mountain slope is sliding down. I didn't make any effort, instead I just felt autumn there. It was a clear day after rainy days that took off orange osmanthus petals. Fujisan with rainbow Rain cleanses us and brings next season.

Oh Japanese..

I've been reading Hard boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami lately. His expressions are soooo good that I can't help making a note while I'm reading. His descriptions are amazing. I read the book on the commuting train and if there's any line that I am impressed, I take out my mobile and text it to my PC e-mail. Thus, I'm busy on the train, especially my commuting hour has been shorted since I moved. I miss long time train trip a bit. My neighbourhood photos.
