We have seen empty display shelf at anywhere at shops in Tokyo since the massive earthquake happen.
Simultaneously people started to stock up on various types of foods and stuff such as bottle of water, toilet paper, batteries, disposable diapers, etc.
That is disgraceful deed.
I understand why people want to prepare more because there are still big issues which are mainly concerned from the nuclear power plants accident.
However, People in afflicted area are suffering right now.
We have to consider of them and think what we can do for them.

Today, I saw an advertisement on the way to work.

It says 'The things we can do if we share with others'.

12 roll of toilet paper for 1000 people.
10 liter of gasoline for 4 times drive ambulance
A loaf of bread for one family.
A bottle of cooking gas canister for rice for 10 people.
5 kg of rice for 120 rice ball.
A battery for Radio for 100 people.

This is the office where the ads put on.
This picture was taken long time before the earthquake happen.
We don't see much lights in the town now days.

Hiking @ Mt. Fuji

Pictures of Mt. Fuji where one of spiritual places in Japan. You can drive to halfway up the mountain. It's about two hours hiking course from there. Many people like to try climbing up Mt. Fuji. It's a popular way that people spend a night at a co ttage and start around 2am to see sun rise at the top, however I have never tried it. R einforcement work is under way as mountain slope is sliding down. I didn't make any effort, instead I just felt autumn there. It was a clear day after rainy days that took off orange osmanthus petals. Fujisan with rainbow Rain cleanses us and brings next season.

Oh Japanese..

I've been reading Hard boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami lately. His expressions are soooo good that I can't help making a note while I'm reading. His descriptions are amazing. I read the book on the commuting train and if there's any line that I am impressed, I take out my mobile and text it to my PC e-mail. Thus, I'm busy on the train, especially my commuting hour has been shorted since I moved. I miss long time train trip a bit. My neighbourhood photos.
