Lunch @ Jiyugaoka

I went out for Saturday lunch in Jiyugaoka which is one of fancy places in Tokyo.

My friend is so resourceful when it comes to eating so I just follow her whenever we meet up.

We went to Lobros for lunch and I had a french toast with blue berry & cream cheese plate.

By the way , the note which placed out side of the door was a little funny, so I took that picture, as well.
'No buggies more than three.'

We saw many small kids with their mothers in this restaurant.
It's a little different scene from the central Tokyo such as Omotesando or Yurakucho.
This is more residential district but for a very rich family!

Then we were heading to a cake shop named 'Mont St Clair' which is often seen in TV, according to my friend, and we bought some peace of cakes. We couldn't get seats there because of a white day.

It is an event relates Valentin's day in Japan.

Women give chocolates to men on Valentin's day and men give something back to women one month later which called 'White day'.

Cake shops are very busy in February and March.

My choices are Mont St Clair & Caramel Poire. Looks good, aren't they?

We gave up sitting there and went back to the Station and had a coffee at 'San Francisco Cable Car Coffee'.

It's a casual style coffee shop that you can visit by yourself.

We talked about work, people, fortune-telling and some philosophies.

It's a sunny & peaceful day :)

I was wondering about the chocolate

I like your way of doing it. Here it might be more like you are forced to give something more than maybe you want to.

Do most women when they like a man do it anonymously or how does that go?

It's more like flirting that our Valentines Day. More fun your way.

Hiking @ Mt. Fuji

Pictures of Mt. Fuji where one of spiritual places in Japan. You can drive to halfway up the mountain. It's about two hours hiking course from there. Many people like to try climbing up Mt. Fuji. It's a popular way that people spend a night at a co ttage and start around 2am to see sun rise at the top, however I have never tried it. R einforcement work is under way as mountain slope is sliding down. I didn't make any effort, instead I just felt autumn there. It was a clear day after rainy days that took off orange osmanthus petals. Fujisan with rainbow Rain cleanses us and brings next season.

Oh Japanese..

I've been reading Hard boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami lately. His expressions are soooo good that I can't help making a note while I'm reading. His descriptions are amazing. I read the book on the commuting train and if there's any line that I am impressed, I take out my mobile and text it to my PC e-mail. Thus, I'm busy on the train, especially my commuting hour has been shorted since I moved. I miss long time train trip a bit. My neighbourhood photos.

Aomori

The northernmost part of Honshu(Main Land). It's about 700km away from Tokyo. Where The lantern festival take place. Where Tsugaru Shamisen originated. 8 hours driving. Easy driving. Food! Pink flowers and shrine. Pink pink pink. Season goes a little later than Tokyo. Plants took over the house. How pretty you are. This mountain called Osorezan , which is one of spiritual places in Japan.
